How POD works with Haruko
Haruko is the position and accounting data layer behind POD's administration. Every venue, custody account and wallet a fund uses is connected to a Haruko sub-fund group at onboarding, and the fund's gross asset value is read from it at each valuation point as the input to the NAV. This is how a fund trading on five venues is reconciled and valued once a day without the manager supplying files.
The fund's whole book is valued in one place. Allocators get a NAV calculated from source data pulled directly from venues and custodians, which is the standard of independence operational due diligence looks for.
