Both tiers share the same operating stack: administration with daily NAV, a qualified custodian, banking, pre-opened venue accounts, investor onboarding and access to POD Discover. The differences are the structure (shared SPC versus own SPC), the minimum launch AUM and the setup cost. Neither tier carries monthly or annual minimums; platform fees are variable and scale with the fund.
Startup Manager / Emerging Manager (POD tiers)
Startup Manager and Emerging Manager are POD's two launch tiers. Startup Manager launches a fund from US$1 million of AUM as a segregated portfolio inside a POD SPC in up to three weeks, with a US$5,000 legal pass-through. Emerging Manager launches from US$25 million with the manager's own SPC in up to four weeks, with a US$25,000 pass-through.
Why this matters for POD
Which tier fits depends on launch AUM and whether the manager wants their own fund company name on the structure.
